Together, we form a tight-knit network committed to providing top-notch pediatric therapy services. Our community partners play a crucial role in supporting Buford Kids’ Spot’s mission to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to thrive.

Camps and Summer Programs

  • FOCUS Camps
    • Specialized day camps with a variety of themes led by paraprofessionals and teachers
  • Camp All For One
    • Inclusive day camps for ages 5-15 for children with and without disabilities
  • Camp Brightside
    • For individuals ages 14-22 with Down Syndrome. Traditional camp activities in a supportive setting
  • Camp Dream
    • For children with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities ages 4+. Provides 1:1 camper to counselor ratio in the summer. Does not turn away campers due to severity of disability or financial reasons
  • Camp Discovery
    • For children with intellectual disabilities ages 13-25. Hosted by Woodland Christian Camp and is a free weekend respite camp. Led by certified professionals
  • Camp Hawkins
    • Day camp for children ages 8-21 lasting five days for children with ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, Down’s Syndrome, learning disorders, TBIs, and a number of other special needs
  • Camp Southern Ground
    • Inclusive camp serving ages 7-17 specializing in inclusive environments, serving children regardless of background, race, religion and providing a space for children from underserved areas and children of military and veteran families

    • Provides a number of day camps that promote social skills in children

Government Programs

  • Katie Beckett
    • Provides Medicaid for certain children (age 18 or younger) with disabilities regardless of family income. Application available in English or Spanish
  • Babies Can’t Wait
    • Early intervention program offering services for children from birth up to age 3 and their families
  • GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program)
    • At-home nursing and personal care for medically fragile children. Professional, skilled nursing provided by the state of Georgia
  • NOW/COMP
    • Waiver program offering home and community services for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities

    • Lending library for gently used pediatric equipment such as gait trainers, walkers, and positioning equipment

    • Year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities

    • Non-profit providing athletic programs to children with special needs up to 22 years of age. Accepts any type of impairment from very high functioning children to medically fragile ones
